All components have been designed and manufactured utilizing the latest in technology and materials. We recommend using the factory service manual to supplement these installation tips. This manual will provide more detailed information on removal, installation, and/or torque specifications of any parts not covered here. Remember to always use jack stands to support the vehicle when a car lift is not available. Always work in a clean environment and use the appropriate safety equipment to avoid any potential damage or injuries. With exception to the gasket and hardware provided, all factory gaskets     and hardware can be reused. Inspect all factory gaskets that are to be reused and replace if necessary. Comptech exhaust      systems are designed to replace the factory exhaust system utilizing all factory hangers. No modifications are re- quired. 2.5" Cat-back Exhaust Honda Civic Si Installation Instructions (2002-2005) • Remove existing exhaust system: Remove existing exhaust system from catalytic converter back. Use a penetrating oil (WD-40 or similar) to ease removal of nuts, bolts and rubber exhaust hangers. • Hang B-pipe: Hang B-pipe portion on rubber hanger and connect to catalytic converter using factory     gasket and hardware. • Attach Axle back muffler: Hang rear muffler section with factory rubber hangers. Use supplied nuts, bolts, washers and gasket and connect muffler to B-pipe. • Tighten & Check: Align all flanges and torque all connections to 25 ft-lbs.
