All components have been designed and manufactured utilizing the latest in technology and materials. Please take a moment to read this instruction manual and warranty information page thoroughly before starting any work. Remember to always use jack stands to support the vehicle when a car lift is not available. Always work in a clean environment and use the appropri- ate safety equipment and tools to avoid any potential damage or injuries. Comptech recommends the use of a Genuine Honda Service Manual for this installation. All Comptech products are intended to be installed by a professional installer. Many stock parts are reused during installation. Do not damage or discard any pieces during disassembly or installation. The factory manual will cover removal, installation, torque specs, bearing preload, etc. Due to set-up requirements and spe- cialized tools needed, installation of this upgrade must be done by a qualified technician. All set-up specs and torque figures will be the same as indicated in the factory service manual. The retaining caps and the diff housing itself come from the Comptech as a matched set, and they must remain that way. Failure to keep them as a matched set may cause bearing failure. Keep these pieces together in their proper location and do not mix them up.
