Adding and changing fluids are important to vital functioning        of your Camry.  Adding and checking fluids is very simple. When refueling checking the fluid levels is a very good habit.  A simple funnel can be used to refill fluids; most service stations have paper funnels for free.  Coolant has a reservoir that can be checked by sight. It is not needed to be checked as often as other fluids  Your Camry uses color coded caps and dipsticks to designate the type of fluid. Oil: checking 1  Pull the dip stick from the engine, it has have a yellow ring handle. 2  Oil residue should be on the end of the dipstick. Wipe clean with a paper towel, then reinsert the dipstick back into the engine. 3  Two markings indicate wither oil should be added or not. If oil is not within the allotted marks then more oil is needed.  Reinsert the dipstick. Oil : adding 1  Open oil cap on engine. (see figure #2) 2  Pour oil into open engine. 3  Stop pouring oil when it is visible in engine. 4  Replace oil cap, screw tight. Transmission fluid  The tranmission uses Dexron type II fluid.
